A frequently asked question is how to create quality content? Or what is it that my viewers want me to write or speak about? According to research and analysis platform Statista, the number of social media users in India stood at 326.1 million in 2018. India has also seen emergence and rise in the number of bloggers, vloggers, youtubers, influencers, among others. If you also want to become one of these, then it's time to put your worries to rest as we at Entrepreneur India will tell you about four important tips to create stellar content for social media.

Content takes the centre stage

Content is always the "king"! It is not always about producing or developing expensive content but about creating something, which tells a story.

Understand your consumer

Before generating content, you must ask yourself what you want to achieve from that content, and who the final consumer of the content is going to be. The way you communicate what you want to, has to be simple and direct, and make sure that it resonates with the person at the other end.

Age of Social media and influencing

In the age of social media, content makers need to have understanding of how long, or short, the content needs to be. Clear communication and storytelling needs to be achieved in less than a minute. In today's time nobody wants to see a half-an-hour long video.

Engaging and thought-provoking content

Speak "with" the viewer and not "to" the viewer. More often than not, we as content creators consider ourselves to be an authority on the subject. The only way to get more pair of eyes is to make sure that the viewer engages on a personal level with the content.
